Walnut Cake Recipe Gilgit Style

Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 1 cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1/4 cup raisins Powdered sugar, for dusting Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9-inch cake pan. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts and raisins.
